Lompoc SWAT team arrests man after domestic violence call KSBY and last updated 2021-04-28 19:22:36-04 Lompoc police say officers responded to a domestic violence disturbance Wednesday afternoon that included reports the man involved was possibly armed with multiple knives. At about 12:40 p.m., LPD began making announcements outside the residence on the 200 block of North K Street calling for the man who was barricaded inside to come out. Branning, 30, was arrested in connection with the death of Heath, 25, and was charged with murder. Branning has been behind bars since he was booked into the Webb County Jail on March 16. Heath’s death marked the city’s second homicide in 2021. ....
