LPD: Man forced woman to engage in prostitution April 9, 2021 FacebookTwitterEmail A man has been arrested for forcing a woman to engage in prostitution, according to Laredo police. LPD officers responded to a kidnapping report at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Rosson Lane and Jacaman Road. A woman in her 20s stated that she had been compelled to engage in prostitution by force and that she feared for her life. Authorities identified the suspect as Jason Duncan, 34. Officers located and detained Duncan and another man at another nearby location. Special investigations unit detectives took over the case. “During the investigation, it was revealed the victim and the suspect arrived to Laredo from out of state and that the victim was forced to engage in prostitution against her will,” states the affidavit. ....
