The victim’s family spoke to News 9 the day after the suspect’s arrest. “It was just wrong, it was senseless,” said Lori Cantrell, Pugh’s sister-in-law. On April 25, police said Pugh was shot at his apartment complex near NW 18th and Youngs Boulevard. Investigators learned Ingram was beating on apartment doors looking for a woman and driving around the complex. Police said security footage showed Pugh came home only moments before he was shot in the back in the breezeway. Pugh s family, who called him Gabe, did not think their loved one even knew the accused shooter. ....

A building permit for a new restaurant was among the nine issued by the City of Mountain Home in December, according to a report from Jeannie Anderson from the Building Inspection Department. The report indicates a permit was issued to Gregory Co. Inc. on behalf of Schlotzsky’s, located at 1012 U.S. Highway 62 East. The 1,800-square-foot project has a construction value of $943,612. A sign permit was issued to Oxford Signs and Neon on behalf of Ballard and Company, LTD. The project, located at 668 U.S. Highway 62 East at the former location of First Federal and Bear State banks, has a construction value of $4,800. ....
