Riders driving recklessly down southbound 101 in San Francisco. Sot officer vu williams chp 1318they were riding across all lanes slowing down traffic , im not sure if you want to call it sideshow activity, but they were doing wheelies, and stunts on the freeway. At a certain point a biker appears to collide with this White Rideshare vehicle the sedan starts moving to the right towards the cesar chavez exit when a black sedan appears to block its way then the dirtbikers and atv riders surround the vehicle the person in the red hoodie appears to physically attack the white sedan. Thats when the driver, in a black tshirt gets out the next thing the video shows, hes on the ground, he gets up and appears to be punched by a person in a blue shirt. Sot until yesterday we have never seen one where an Innocent Party was assaulte ....
Freeway near san pablo road remains closed. The shooting happened near the off ramp on eastbound 80, just before the san pablo avenue off ramp. Two people were shot. A male and a femalechopper landed on the freeway to transport the male victim who was shot multiple times to the hospital by air. The female victim is expected to survive. This portion of the freeway has been shut down for nearly 5 hours, and as you can imagine, rush hour traffic has been nothing but gridlock. People have been sitting in traffic for hours. Drivers are advised to take westbound 580 through richmond, eastbound 24, richmond parkway, or even consider Public Transportation such as bart. Investigators are still working at this hour. Law enforcement was able to break the case soon after the shooting. Witnesses helped officers with a description of the suspect vehiclewhich led to an all out search. And now 3 people are in custody. Danger is its not exactly where we are right now. Reporter we spoke to San Francisco pd and they said this is how it got started in the first place. The victim was attempting to enter the apartment for Pest Control Services when the occupant point a firearm. The victim treated, fled and called 911. Reporter entire area is locked down. Police have been escorting people out of buildings in the area. Most of the people in the restaurants have already been escorted out. Now, if you are wondering why the bomb squad is out here, police say this is out of an abundance of precaution. They dont believe the suspect has an explosive at this time but they one sure when they first started the situation.
