Chef Judy has opened restaurants before, but opening Riverside Seafood was unlike any other.
For Judith Cage, whose Chef Judy persona and multiple Food Network appearances have made the Chicago native and Army veteran a popular figure around Fayetteville, her latest restaurant opening was the scariest. 
Most people wouldn t think (a pandemic) is the time to open a restaurant, she said. 
The coronavirus pandemic forced Cage and business partner Rashawn Moore to shutter several of their other operations, including The Lodge Family Kitchen in Spring Lake and their Crown Coliseum outpost of Uptown s Chicken and Waffles.
