So with that said, Severe Prediction Center has a slight risk of Severe Weather for the bay area. We may not only get, isolated thunderstorms. But gusty wind. Also, maybe some small hail. Here is how it looks for the first part of the storm. Good news. Early commuters. Spotty showers expected into the north bay. Maybe down here toward santa cruz as well. Then as we head into 9 00. Radar is starting to light up and those lightning strikes are becoming more numerous and widespread, especially over the last hour or so. Just off the monterey coast this activity is trending to the north, so the north bay, youre going to see the shower activity first. Its going to be very light and spotty, and as i mentioned around this afternoon its going to move through. You can see the timing on this, north bay and the santa cruz mountains, include it there, youll notice 3 00 thats when the heavy rain pushes in and after that, its going to rain everywhere pretty much for about an hour or two and be very heavy rain. We are still talking about the potential of ponding on the roadways and even the potential for downed trees and power lines. What you dont see here are the extremely gusty winds that are going to move through. Well time line the storm and when its going to move out and our next system, the chance to move in sunday night. Possible. You see the smashed glass there in front of the wells fargo bank. And the camera pulling back now, showing more demonstrators up and down telegraph. We have seen violence up and down that street for the past half hour or so. This all started actually around 5 00 this afternoon. A march by hundreds of people. Peaceful for several hours. But about 9 00 tonight, protester moved on to eastbound highway 24, blocking traffic. When officers moved on toe clear the highway, they say someone threw some type of explosive at the chp. Take a look at video we have right now of what the chp did at that point. Lets just say that they detonated tear gas and the crowd dispersed. The crowd rushed away. The tactic worked. The clairemont exit off of 24 was cleared. And the chp says they did that in response to an explosive being thrown at them. This was a scene a few minutes earlier on eastbound 24. Traffic brought to a stand still. Crowds chanting and waving signs. Some demonstrators hurling roc ....
