congratulations. we will hear your story in just a second. we have lily silverstein sitting next to alec, you were a patient when you were 18 month old up until what age. about 21. ainsley: alec sitting next to you. you are famous. you have been in the commercials for how many years. i have been doing the comecialsz for nine years now. it s been a lot of fun. ainsley: how old were you when you started treated at shriners. since i was 2 months old. what are you affected with. brittle bone disease. i have broken over 60 bones in my life and shriner s childrens has been there every step of the way. ainsley: that sound pretty painful. yeah it s nice to have support like shriner s helping you with surgeries, physical therapies, and just being like a second family. such a great support. ainsley: did your parents have to move close to a shriner s hospital. my family is really fortunate. woe live fairly close to the shriner s in chicago. we have been blessed. ainsley: t
Winners for the five annual honors awards were announced at a ceremony last month. The awards include the Raymond Betts Crystal Award, the Diachun Award, the Leadership Award, the Diachun Scholar Award and the Evans Scholar Award.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 12, 2021) The University of Kentucky Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society established the Maurice A. Clay Awards over 30 years ago to recognize the outstanding graduating senior in each academic college at the University of Kentucky. Winners are selected by the college’s dean or a dean s representative and are expected to be exceptional leaders who have provided service to their college while maintaining a strong academic record.
Omicron Delta Kappa recognizes superior scholarship, leadership and exemplary character. The Maurice A. Clay Awards are one way in which the ODK National Leadership Society can bestow on graduating seniors a “Mark of High Distinction.”
