This time, the raps alleged his involvement in series of “anomalous” cash advances amounting to P56.14 million made from 2013 to 2018 during his incumbency as governor of Quezon province. Suarez is facing the complaint together with Provincial Accountant Evangelina Ong, Provincial Treasurer Rosario Marilou Uy, and Provincial Budget Officer Diego Salas. Complainants Leonito Batugon, Antonio Almoneda, Marife Benusa, and Mauro Forneste want them administratively charged for Grave Misconduct, Dishonesty, and Conduct Prejudicial to the Best Interest of Service.
