The NBI on Monday recommended the charges for alleged violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, Misappropriation of Funds of the Corporation, and administrative cases of Grave Misconduct, Gross Negligence and Conduct Prejudicial to Public Interest. Aside from Morales, respondents to the case were executive vice presidents Arnel de Jesus and Renato Limsiaco, senior vice president Israel Pargas, and 11 other officials from Metro Manila and other regions.

Quezon solon faces new raps over cash advance 'anomalies' – Manila Bulletin

Published December 14, 2020, 2:56 PM Another complaint against Quezon 2nd District Rep. David Suarez has reached the Office of the Ombudsman on Monday. This time, the raps alleged his involvement in series of “anomalous” cash advances amounting to P56.14 million made from 2013 to 2018 during his incumbency as governor of Quezon province. Suarez is facing the complaint together with Provincial Accountant Evangelina Ong, Provincial Treasurer Rosario Marilou Uy, and Provincial Budget Officer Diego Salas. Complainants Leonito Batugon, Antonio Almoneda, Marife Benusa, and Mauro Forneste want them administratively charged for Grave Misconduct, Dishonesty, and Conduct Prejudicial to the Best Interest of Service. As for the criminal charges, complainants want them held liable for violation of Article 217 and 218 of the Revised Penal Code, otherwise known as Malversation of Public Funds and Failure of Accountable Officer to Render Accounts, respectively, as well as Section 3(e) of
