Help needed to place flags at veterans graves May 22

File Photo/Lawrence Emerson Volunteers on Saturday, May 22, will place flags at the graves of 920 military veterans in the Warrenton Cemetery. American Legion Post 72 seeks community volunteers to help place flags at veterans’ graves in advance of Memorial Day. The “Flags in Project” will mark 920 burial sites in the Warrenton Cemetery, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 22. Boy Scouts, military veterans and homeschool groups already have signed up to help. But, the effort needs more volunteers.
