Foyer Pere Fiset, Chéticamp
What the renovations will be for each project has not yet been announced, as the review is ongoing.
Alongside the renovations, the province says they will add 236 beds to facilities in the central zone, including 44 at Northwood on top of the 100 they previously removed.
Those beds will be placed in a new location while the existing building is maintained.
The other 192 beds will be determined through the tender process,  the release said.
The expansions are under the Long Term Care Infrastructure Plan, and the first renovation project is expected to finish by 2024-2025.
