• Dakota R. Dawdy, 24, of 1325 Old Route 36, Winchester, was booked into the Morgan County jail at 11:33 p.m. Tuesday on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of adult-use cannabis by a driver, illegal transportation or possession of liquor by a driver and a title/registration offense.

• Jeremy C. Stucker, 42, of 19 Maple Creek Lane was booked into the Morgan County jail at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday on three counts of methamphetamine delivery, three counts of aggravated fleeing or eluding an officer, three counts of reckless driving, and three counts of driving while license is revoked or suspended.

Bail has been set at $1 million for a Jacksonville man charged in a deadly weekend shooting.
Joshua E. Wilson, 37, of 27 Lavan Drive was arrested Tuesday on a charge of murder in the death of Malcolm V. Fitts, 26, of Chicago.
Fitts, who is from Jacksonville, died about an hour after arriving Sunday at Passavant Area Hospital with a gunshot wound. Police had been called to the 800 block of Hoagland Boulevard about 5:30 a.m. Sunday because of reports of shots being fired.
Wilson was being held Wednesday in the Morgan County Detention Facility. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for March 30.

• Mario T. Jackson, 36, of 717 W. Beecher Ave. was booked into the Morgan County jail at 8:29 p.m. Saturday on charges of possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant accusing him of failing to appear in court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
• Steven A. Kirkham, 36, of 108 W. Point Drive was booked into the Morgan County jail at 12:15 p.m. Saturday on a domestic battery charge.
