we saw snow almost half a foot deep. here in prince frederick they got about 3 inches or so. down in st. mary s it was a real snowstorm. most of the region can brush away a drufting here, some to do break out the shovels. what do you think you got 5 inchs? probably five in some spots. some areas got as much as a half foot of snow. it dissipated real quick. he was right by midday we couldn t find snow or slush covered roads. just the same, schools took a snow day. they had lots of crews to clear the walk ways. it also gave students to a chance to make an extra buck or two with a shovel and the opportunity to dust off those seldom used sleds. this is nice. this might be the only snow we get this year. a reminder, it chills us to the bone winter can be pretty. take a look at these shots from the water. often times when we have storms like this we worry about melting and refreezing but what we see out here is dry pavement. there are going to be places where that is
