Our Correspondent Wokha, July 15 (EMN): Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) felicitated meritorious students of classes 10 and 12 from the Lotha community in the recently declared NBSE results during a programme held at Wokha District Village Council Chairmen’s Association (WDVCCA) hall on July 15. Speaking at the programme, chairman of Lotha Hoho, Mhondamo Ovung, felt that the present education system has to be more of vocational rather than only learning textbook knowledge. He stated that students need not only obtain various education degrees but also focus beyond textbook knowledge, which are job oriented to address unemployment problems. He, therefore, advised the students to learn and focus on skill development activities to enable themselves employable or become self-employed after completion of studies.
