Hurricane harvey is taking dead aim at the texas gulf coast, surprising meteorologists with its power and size. Early this morning harvey strengthened into a category 2 storm with sustained winds of 105 miles per hour. The eye of harvey is expected to make a landfall about 70 miles northeast of Corpus Christi late tonight or early tomorrow. For the millions of people in its path, it poses a grave risk with the potential of up to three feet of rain and 12foot storm surges. To make matters worse, harvey is going nowhere fast.
