live from las vegas. now with just two days before super bowl lviii, right here on cbs. but, we want to begin tonight with breaking news out of florida. a deadly plane crash in naples, forcing the shutdown of a major interstate. here s what we know. a private jet, a challenger 600, was attempting an emergency landing on i-75 when it appeared to collide with a car and burst into flames. the plane flying from columbus, ohio, had five people on board. two people have died, and we are learning tonight of a miraculous escape by three others. cbs s manuel bojorquez has the developing details. holy [bleep]. reporter: just after 3:00 p.m., the private jet crashed into the southbound lanes of interstate 75 near naples, florida, sending a massive fireball into the air. okay, challenger, hot potato 823, lost both engines. emergency, i m making an emergency landing. clear to land runway 2-3. we are cleared to land, but we are not going to make the runway. reporter: eyewitness
