RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Patna for questioning related to the land-for-jobs scam that allegedly took place during his tenure as Railway Minister (2004-2009). Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma stressed that the Court cannot throttle the investigation at the stage of issuance of summons and dismissed the plea as being premature.
