A professor and five students from Pune University were arrested for their involvement in a play depicting behind-the-scenes conversations of actors in Ramleela, accused of offending religious sentiments.
Six people including SPPU professor Dr Pravin Dattatraya Bhole were earlier arrested over the play which allegedly had a male actor playing Sita smoking on stage.
