We had them a long time and it hurts. It hurts, McKinnley said. The fire, in the 200 block of Segura, near Enrique M. Barrera Parkway, raced through the modest home that McKinnley and his sister Angenette grew up in. ....

A fast-moving fire in the 200 block of Segura consumed the longtime family home they shared with their late parents before the flames jumped on the roof of the house next door. ....

The group is among the nonprofits providing items to those in need during the winter storm. On Wednesday, the Avilas were busily packing boxes and care packages with food, personal hygiene and other assorted items for people in need during the weather crisis. Avila and others then took the packages to the families in need. In total about 180 care packages were distributed by Eagles Flight on Wednesday to the elderly and families needing supplies as power outages continue to ravage the area.
