details. reporter: it is deeply troubling case, trace. first reported by the washington examiner, a grieving mom, tammy nobles looking frantic as to how an ms13 member entered the u.s. and stayed here and allegedly raped and murdered her daughter. came into her room and he started her. she called her boyfriend but it went to voice mail. the voice mail was two minute and 30 seconds of him strangling her. they think he raped her after she was dead. reporter: police in maryland where kayla hamilton was killed and learned the 17-year-old suspect was a gang member and had illegally entered into the u.s. last march. he was apprehended at the border and handed over to the department and health services. they are responsible for handling unaccompanied minor. it is not clear hhs knew at the time jim jordan is now demanding answers writing to homeland security secretary alejandro mayorkas. the biden administration border and immigration policies increase the likelihood that those
