HAMILTON, Ohio â Neighbors and family members in Hamilton gathered for a vigil Saturday evening to remember 6-year-old Nolen Jones, who died Tuesday after he and his brother were hit by a driver while they crossed the street.
They just feel blessed, said Kristina Booher, a friend of Jones family, who helped organize the vigil. They literally feel blessed. They can t believe the support and love that this community and the surrounding communities have just poured on them. ....

The Hamilton community came together Saturday to remember a 6-year-old who died after being struck by a car. Six-year-old Nolen Jones and his 11-year-old brother Logan Watson were both struck Tuesday night on a busy Hamilton road.Nolen died from his injuries, Logan was also injured but is expected to recover. The goal of Saturday s vigil was to bring awareness to impaired driving, lack of crosswalks and speeding in the area.The family also wanted to thank the first responders who tried to save Nolen. This showing of love and support for the family in their darkest hours is just absolutely amazing its beautiful and I know I feel blessed and I know the family feels blessed for all the outreach the community has given them, Kristina Booher, a family friend who organized the vigil said. The driver, Elizabeth Mehl, 30, who hit the boys was arrested and charged with driving ....
