took affect. good morning, everyone. i m andrea roane. howard bernstein is here with weather. kris sneed is in for angie. he will have the traffic in just a moment. we begin with howard and the school closing this morning. garrett county schools are closed. they had 40 feet of snow last week. 40 feet. i m exaggerating. no. three feet of snow in spots of garrett county, tremendous upslope and probably dealing with the affects of that. around here this morning it is march, march 1st. we made it through meteorological winter. today the first day of meteorological spring. let s talk about what is happening outside. a mix of clear skies and clouds. a few snow and rain showers yesterday. i don t know if you saw the snow in the afternoon a little bit. some spritzes and snow showers and this morning is fairly quiet with clouds hanging tough in the mountains. temperature-wise, mid to upper 30s right now. may drop a couple of degrees before the sunrise here in 9000 minute ....
