Kohima Smart City Development Limited completes 17 out of 35 projects

Our Correspondent Kohima, June 25 (EMN): A total of 17 out of 35 projects implemented by the Kohima Smart City Development Limited (KSCDL) under the ‘Smart City Mission’ have been completed so far. Some of the completed projects are: Kohima Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), Capital Cultural Hall, beautification works, community building at New Market, pedestrian-friendly footpath, procurement of mobility hotspot etc. This was informed by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KSCDL, Kezha Theunuo while highlighting the status of Kohima Smart City projects on the occasion of the 7th anniversary celebration of the mission on the theme ‘Sabka Bharat, Nikharta Bharat’ held at Capital Cultural Hall in Kohima on Saturday. Some of the ongoing projects include a multi-level parking at Old Medical Directorate, PR Hill and Nagaland State Transport bus station, a walkable street and cycle track, which is expected to be completed within two to three months, he added.
