Share Preah Sihanouk keeps 3 factories shut Thu, 27 May 2021 The Preah Sihanouk provincial authorities have temporarily suspended the operations of three factories in two special economic zones for another week from May 26 to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Two of the factories – Cambodian Everwin Express and Prowood (Cambodia) Flowering – are located in the Preah Sihanouk Special Economic Zone on National Road 4 in Prey Nop district’s Bit Traing commune. The other factory is Xie Cheang Home Furnishings, located in the Jejiang Gorji Special Economic Zone on National Road 4 in Prey Nop district’s Choeung Kor commune. In a decision dated May 25, the provincial administration said it had found positive cases after suspending the factories prior to the extension to collect samples for Covid-19 testing. ....
