Months in prison. Almost four years. Its been close to four years since the incident on the ft. Lee side of the George Washington bridge that created the bridgegate scandal. Bridgette kelly and bill baroni were convicted in november of wire fraud, conspiracy, and misusing the bridge as retaliation against ft. Lees mayor because he declined to endorse governor christies bid for reelection. Prosecutors said the two shut down several toll lanes at the George Washington bridge in september of 2013 intentionally causing a major traffic jam in ft. Lee. Governor christie was never charged with any wrongdoing. He argued that he was never aware that his office was involved until months after the fact. Federal sentencing guidelines call for 37 to 46 months. The exact sentence is up to the judge. Both boroni and kelly have asked for leniency including Community Service instead jail time. Meantime, governor Chris Christie is in line to lead a President Trump task force. That tops the other stories

Police say Steve Stephens posted a video manifesto to facebook yesterday saying he wanted to kill as many people as possible. Then the video shows the suspect getting out of the car and telling a man on the street hes about to die because of a woman. Then a handgun appears, theres a gunshot, and moments later, the victim is laying in the blood. The victim has been identified as Robert Godwin sr. , 74. He was fairly well known in the area. And a councilman said neighbors respected that man. They are heartbroken all while police expand the search for the suspected killer. Shocking. Its a killer trying to show his power.
