Fredon and Montague residents will vote Tuesday on their local school budgets for the upcoming 2021-22 school year, the first time in nearly a decade they ll get to do so.
Polls will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Fredon Civic Center (Route 94) and the Montague Municipal Building (Clove Road).
Tuesday s budget vote is for the elementary schools only and won t impact Kittatinny Regional High School (Fredon) or High Point Regional High School (Montague), which operate as separate entities.
Like most districts, Fredon and Montague have not had a budget election since a 2012 state law allowed them to move their elections from April to November as a cost-saving measure.
