Fredon and Montague residents will vote Tuesday on their local school budgets for the upcoming 2021-22 school year, the first time in nearly a decade they'll get to do so.
Polls will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Fredon Civic Center (Route 94) and the Montague Municipal Building (Clove Road).
Tuesday's budget vote is for the elementary schools only and won't impact Kittatinny Regional High School (Fredon) or High Point Regional High School (Montague), which operate as separate entities.
Like most districts, Fredon and Montague have not had a budget election since a 2012 state law allowed them to move their elections from April to November as a cost-saving measure.
