good. you are hearing of the reality of gun violence. now, at least 17 dead, more than 80 shots all across the nation just since friday. you heard me right. since friday as in today is monday. unbelievable. it is on pace of its worst year ever according to gun violence archive. that means 246, since the beginning of the year. the three-year uptick began where they began. in to 2020, 110 and last year we were at 692. with all those numbers, it is really one number to keep focusing on. i mean that s what america wants to do about these are horrible numbers. that is a number 10. 10 republicans in the 50/50 senate to sign on legislation that could reduce the number of gun relate dd deaths in this country. i didn t say eliminate all gun violence. the lawyer in me have to manage all expectations. how about saving as many as innocent lives as possible as some kidney of action? a senator said it quite well this morning. there is no one thing that ll prevent mass killi ....

i want to know what has taken so long. i want to know if they re going to be able to satisfy the american public s appetite for new information in light of books that have been put out, the impeachment hearing as well. there s a lot of things to talk about, and i am really eager to understand how they re going to have the legislative and oversight function, and really are people going to watch? that s the biggest question. are they going to watch with an eye towards validating this committee? yeah. i think people will watch. i don t think it s going to be, you know, watergate, right, because we don t have that sort of media system anymore. it s not that way. but i think people will watch, and i think some minds will be changed and others, it won t matter to them because they ve already made up their minds. but at least the information is out there, and we re going to get to hear from those who are involved. we ll see you tomorrow night, laura coates. looking forward ....
