White Hall School District Superintendent Gary Williams anticipates beginning conversations next week about how to fill the high school head football coaching vacancy left by Ryan Mallett.
Three members of the White Hall FFA Chapter were named finalists for the World Food Prize Global Youth Institute at the 95th Arkansas FFA State Convention. The event was held in Hot Springs on April 25-27, according to a news release.
Editor’s note: With a focus on gardening and animal husbandry, White Hall High School is expanding its agricultural offerings to its students in various ways with the goal of setting students on a lifelong career path. This is the second of two stories examining the school’s 3-year-old program, its rapid growth and its future.
Of course, it’s teaching reading, writing and arithmetic, but White Hall High School is adding chickens, pigs and tomatoes to its curriculum.
