Young-jun Tak’s first solo show in his native Seoul, “Love Your Clean Feet on Thursday,” was a study in duality. Two single-channel videos projected on perpendicular walls framed the gallery of Atelier Hermès, punctuated by two adjacent sculptural works that both opened and closed the show.
The abstract work was looted by the Nazis, displayed in a Dutch museum and finally returned to its owners. It’s now the star piece at this year’s TEFAF.
