A drunken man posing as the personal assistant to the home minister was arrested along with two others in Vadodara. The trio got into a brawl with a cop and assaulted him near Golden Chowkdi. The man claimed to be the personal assistant of the home minister and threatened to get the constable transferred. However, it was later revealed that he was not a government employee and had previously worked as a driver for the police. The trio has been booked for assaulting the police and under the Prohibition Act.
