Independent candidates seek seats on Bucyrus City Council Two independent incumbents will not seek reelection, and another will seek a different seat. The deadline for independent candidates to file petitions was 4 p.m. Monday, and the Crawford County Board of Elections released a list of who filed later that afternoon. The elections board will certify petitions during a regular board meeting at 1 p.m. July 15. Fourth Ward Lisa Alsept, an independent who represents the Fourth Ward, did not file for reelection.
