The Supreme Court on Friday declined to entertain a plea seeking a change of trial court in the assault and abduction case against Malayalam actor Dileep.
The application seeking to hand over the phones used by the accused was moved by Additional Public Prosecutor P Narayanan with Director General of Prosecution TA Shaji against the anticipatory bail plea filed by Dileep and others.
The survivor in the case, in which actor Dileep is an accused, spoke publicly for the first time, saying even though she was not the one who committed the crime, there have been attempts to humiliate, silence and isolate her.
