Evart Pair Arrested After Leading Police on 40-Mile Chase April 22, 2021 Two people from Evart now face charges after leading police on a 40-mile chase through three counties. Police arrested Jordan DeWitt and Christina Taylor in Kent County Monday following a chase that began in Mecosta County. Police say they arrested the pair shortly after they abandoned their car near the Sand Lake area. DeWitt and Taylor are part of five separate Mecosta County firearm theft investigations. They’re also suspected in several other thefts in the region that took place over the last two months.

Delaware weather: More snow expected in Delaware Monday

The heaviest snow will likely end by late Monday evening, with periods of light snow expected through Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.   After a day of steady light snowflakes, northern Delaware on Monday braced for more snow as lower Delaware readied for heavy rain and high winds.
