BELMAR, NJ Belmar has lost to a local developer in bidding to purchase the former Belmar First Aid Squad property for its new Emergency Medical Services Division.
Down to Earth Construction LLC submitted the highest bid of $1.443 million to purchase the site, compared to Belmar’s bid of $1.160 million the only bidders to submit their offers before the Belmar First Aid Squad (BFAS) made its selection on May 20, according to Kenneth Pringle, the Belmar attorney representing the squad. ....
