Hampden Medical Center gets township OK on its land development plan for 3-story office building, garage Updated Apr 04, 2021; The Hampden Township Board of Commissioners on Thursday night approved a final land development plan for Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center - Phase 2A, located at Wentworth Corporate Center on one lot, 43.941 acres. The plan calls for a three-story medical office building and a four-story garage. The commissioners also approved a final subdivision and land development plan for 3820-3900 Market Street. It will consist of three lots covering 2.81 acres. The plan calls for three office buildings with a total of 11,250 square feet. ....
Hampden Township Commissioner remembered as ‘dedicated public servant’ Updated Feb 06, 2021; Facebook Share A longtime public figure in Hampden Township passed away Saturday, according to the Hampden Township Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Kenneth E. Fetrow, a Republican, died Feb. 6 following a short illness. No other information about his passing was provided. Fetrow, a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, worked in law enforcement for decades. After graduating from the State Police Academy, he was one of three policemen who made up “the original Hampden Township Police Force in 1959,” according to commissioners. Fetrow served for 43 years, of which, his final 35, were as Chief. ....
