we re working of the upper 50s. we do have scattered clouds outside and dry weather will persist. we do have an area of low pressure that will move in. the temperatures will drop and we will see pretty gusty conditions. it looks like there is no rain to track for the immediate bay area. the temperatures will warm- up once we wrap up the work week. december fell will have a high of 81 degrees. 78 degrees for oakland and low 80s for sunnyvale. vallejo will have a high of 79 degrees. your 7 day around the bay highlights cooler weather as we head into wednesday but take a look at the weekend. the temperatures will be mild to warm and upper 70 s are round the bay. overall, it will be pretty quiet as we track the forecast. as for traffic around the bay we are off to a gragreat start. san mateo bridge is a problem free. the drive time is just 12 to 13 minutes. southbound 101, the golden gate bridge is very quiet. they s still held their own at the coliseum. power lean on their w

a suspect opened fire during a burglar attempt. around 12:30 a man attempted to steal a cart full of tools. he pulled out a revolver and shot one of the guard in the right shoulder. and before running off he gunned down the second guard. both guards are expected to be okay though. police are investigating of an early crash that claimed the life of a 60-year-old in san leandro. what one officer is calling saving the life of the driver. like and i woke up and i looked around and i said dang, sounds like somebody like you know dropped the bomb or something. reporter: san leandro police say around 2:30 this morning, the driver of this suv was around washington avenue and collided head on with a northbound car that had one man and a passenger inside. that driver had crashed when he discovered. the vehicle that was headed southbound caught on fire so he, the office came out and help remove the person from the vehicle. reporter: but the 57-year-old female passenger of the
