Pancake Second Heading into Final Round of Clover Cup

Mesa, Ariz. – Annabelle Pancake shot a 69 for the second day in a row to finish the day at -3 and sit in second place heading into Sunday’s final round of the 2023 Clover Cup, held at the par-72 Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz. Pancake is now -6 on the weekend, just one shot out of first place (Angela Arora, Tennessee).As a team, the Tigers dropped one spot after round two and now sit in fourth heading into the final round. Clemson finished the day at +8 and is now 5 on the weekend. Texas A&M leads at -16, while New Mexico is in second at -6. Tigers Finish Sixth in Rain-Shortened Gator Invitational

Gainesville, Fla. – Savannah Grewal made five birdies in Sunday’s second round to lead Clemson to a sixth-place finish at the Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla., at the 6,002-yard, par-70 Mark Bostick Golf Course. Initially scheduled for 54 holes, Saturday’s 36-hole day was washed out, so the field played 36 holes on Sunday.As a team, the Tigers finished +22, just four strokes out of fifth place. Florida won the tournament on its home course at +3, followed by Mississippi State, UCF, Ole Miss and Arizona.Grewal led the Tigers in the individual ranks, finished +2 and tied for 11th. Tigers Tied for Fourth After Second Round of Blessings Intercollegiate

Fayetteville, Ark. – Chloe Holder and Savannah Grewal each shot a two-under-par 70 to lead the Tigers to the second-best round of the day at the 2022 Blessings Intercollegiate. The Tigers moved up three spots after a tough round one and sit tied for fourth heading into Wednesday’s final round.  The Tigers shot 291 as a team, finishing just behind UCLA (-1) for the best round of the day. Clemson now sits in a tie for fourth with the Bruins heading into the final round.  Holder turned in a bogey-free back nine with four birdies to finish the day at -2 (70). For the tournament, the sophomore transfer is tied for fourth overall at +2. Grewal also finished at -2 with a bogey-free front nine. After two rounds, the senior is tied for seventh overall at +3.  Annabelle Pancake finished the day at +1 and is tied for 12th overall, giving the Tigers their third player in the top 15.
