live from the kgo tv broadcast center this is abc 7 news. a twist in a missing persons case. a mother and young daughter from san francisco have been found. but we re learning tonight the search may have had more to do with the investigation of a man well known for being beaten by alameda county sheriff s deputies. i m matt keller in for eric thomas. abc 7 news reporter alyssa harrington has been following the story all day. she just spoke with family members of the mom and daughter who are relieved they are safe tonight. i got off the phone with the mother of dana rinta. she wants to thank everyone who helped search for her daughter and granddaughter. dana rinta and her 1-year-old daughter scarlet were found safe and unharmed. they were reported missing yesterday, the same day fbi agents raided a home in san francisco s visitation valley. they arrested stanislaus petrov who is rinta s ex-boyfriend. you can see him handcuffed led out of the house by the fbi n put in the b
