Its 79 in st. Petersburg. Lakeland at 73 and clouds will be on the increase today from a tropical wave, believe it or not. It will move northwest through the area and so we bring in some heat. By midday a couple of showers. By late day, numerous showers and the radar is not 100 dry but we only have a few tiny sprinkles this morning. Here are a few of those in southern hernando county. A wet morning for the east coast and a wet afternoon and evening for us. Theres that rain chance at 60 but what you notice is the heat a little more in check. Upper 80s for highs today.
