amtrak trains are traveling through the crossing again around 1:30 this afternoon vanessa henriquez was behind the wheel of the roar rav4 with sadie sitting in the rear passenger seat when the amtrak train struck the vehicle bill. mother and daughter died at the scene. she was a very loving mother, very responsible. always with her children. reporter: relatives say this afternoon vanessa was probably tending to her family as she always did as a devoted stay-at- home mother. she usually does as a mother, picking up groceries, dropping off her son. reporter: mrs. suv got stuck on the train tracks as traffic backed up. it appears it s probably the heavy traffic that got that car trapped on the tracks. reporter: a source tells us the orange markers at the pavement show where pg&e construction work was being done but the crossing may have caused the traffic bottleneck. amtrak trains usually travel at 70 miles per hour through this area. the suv was pushed down the tr
