bull by the horns and rode it past the 11,000 point mark monday. after days of flirtation, even hitting then dropping back below the mark on friday, on monday the dow closed above the magic number. the dow jones has risen about 70% since its low last march. a number of factors are driving the rebound. what we re getting are all sorts of little things. decent auto sales figures. the fact that we had really positive job growth figures. the fact that investors appear to be a little bit more confident and are putting their money back in the stock market. these are all signs of an economy that is in a recovery phase. reporter: and last month s economic numbers back this up. according to the labor department, employers added 162,000 jobs, the largest job gain in three years. in chain stores, sales were up 9% too, the largest increase in more than a decade. stock market can often be an indicator for the average american of how the economy is doing. i might be more willin ....
