But fearing a duplication of services between the parties and the high cost of the contracts, the commissioners voted to approve only the construction manager’s contract, and will hold a special meeting on Thursday to discuss the other two. Leyendecker Construction was awarded a $2,855,640 contract for the fairgrounds, which includes pre-construction services, construction overhead, profit and general conditions charges.
