breaking news. police are trying to untangle what led up to the killing of two people in a hayward neighborhood last night. you see an active scene. we are getting information from police. when we drove by the scene, it was completely kill. we showed you some of that video. they tell us it just happened around 8:30 p.m. last night near 400 rancor place in hayward. a residential area. we spoke to a witness told a man may have started an altercation in the parking lot of an apartment complex in that area with two men who live in the apartments that led to the double fatal shooting. the city just had 10 homicides last year. with these two shootings, this marks the 11th and 12th homicides of 2016. pete suratos for today in the bay. former u.s. attorney general janet reno has died. reno died early this morning due to complications from parkinson s disease. she rose from her position as a florida prosecutor to become the first-ever woman to serve as u.s. attorney general. r
