Authorities said Quentin Ray Cooke, 25, fired two shots into the apartment on the 2400 block of West Third Street after unsuccessfully attempting to confront a man who owed him money. The incident, which did not result in any physical injuries, came almost immediately after he was released from jail while facing an alleged probation violation stemming from another gunfire incident last fall. ....

Duluth Police responded to the report of shots fired in the area of the 2400 Block of W 3rd St. at approximately 7:45pm. When they arrived, they discovered that two shots were fired into the back door of the apartment. According to officers, there were no injuries and all partites knew each other. Police say a 25-year-old man was brought to the St. Louis County Jail for 2nd Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, 1st Degree Burglary, and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, while a 26-year-old man was arrested and brought to the St. Louis County Jail for 1st Degree Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling and 2nd Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. ....
