The judge declared a mistrial for the other two defendants after the jury deadlocked on the hate crime charge. In january, there was a smaller slide that damaged the bike trail. East bay mod and east Bay Regional Parks closed the trail but saw no threat at the time to the homes above it. The area was assessed and at that time there was no evidence. At that point in time we acted on the information that we had. Apple accusing samsung of stealing its ideas. And today, a jury agreed as our mark sayre reports, samsung now owes apple 900 million but jurors from the trial say its more than just the money. A previous jury found samsung did violate apples patents but this jury was tasked with deciding a big portion of the damages.
