CLEVELAND The U.S. Marshals Service s Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force on Wednesday arrested two homicide suspects just blocks away from each other.
Officials say Dea Quan Burks, 23, was found in the back yard of a home on the 3300 block of Walton Avenue Wednesday morning. He is accused of shooting and killing 24-year-old Ahmad Izzat on Clark Avenue back on Memorial Day.
Hours later, 33-year-old Jose Luis Perez-Galan was taken into custody without incident at a home on the 3100 block of West 40th Street. He is wanted in his native Puerto Rico for a killing that allegedly took place in August of 2020.
