CLEVELAND The U.S. Marshals Service s Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force on Wednesday arrested two homicide suspects just blocks away from each other.
Officials say Dea Quan Burks, 23, was found in the back yard of a home on the 3300 block of Walton Avenue Wednesday morning. He is accused of shooting and killing 24-year-old Ahmad Izzat on Clark Avenue back on Memorial Day.
Hours later, 33-year-old Jose Luis Perez-Galan was taken into custody without incident at a home on the 3100 block of West 40th Street. He is wanted in his native Puerto Rico for a killing that allegedly took place in August of 2020.

LORAIN, Ohio The United States Marshals Service has arrested a shooting suspect within hours of the alleged crime.
Authorities claim 25-year-old Luiz Roman was riding a bicycle Wednesday evening near Washington Avenue when he fired a gun into a moving car before fleeing the scene. An unidentified male victim inside the car was shot in the head, and his condition is unknown at this time.
Acting with the Lorain Police Department, members of the Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force located Roman inside a home on East 29th Street in Lorain. He was taken into custody without incident.

CLEVELAND Shortly before noon on this sunny Friday, Cleveland police officers shot a suspected fugitive, now identified as DeWayne Taylor, 31, in the parking lot of the Steelyard Commons Walmart.
According to a press release from the division, members of a fugitive task force tracked Taylor, a Pennsylvania resident, from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he is wanted for pointing a firearm at officers on Dec. 4. In a press conference with Cleveland Police Chief Calvin D. Williams, Cleveland Public Safety Director Karrie Howard, and US Marshal Pete Elliot, the team said the shooting occurred after members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force attempted to ap
