The scholarships are meant to encourage students to be civic minded. A $2,500 Vision Scholarship will be awarded for an essay about the Police Department Vision Statement and the value of community engagement. Applicants are asked to describe a community engagement event that can be implemented by the Police Department and fulfills the Department’s vision. ....
