One of the beauties of the Big Red Machine was that Sparky Anderson didn’t need to draw up a different lineup every day. Back when the Reds were thumping pitchers in the mid-1970s, the same lineup could last all week.

Giants pitcher Logan Webb grew up an A’s fan, so he thinks it’s nifty that his pitching coach is former A’s closer Andrew Bailey.
